How to: 4 Ways I Wear Purple Lipstick

Don't know how to wear a purple lipstick? Can't decide what purple lipstick looks best for your skintone? Or maybe you bought a purple lipstick and can't decide what eyeshadow look to pair it with? Have no fear! In today's video I show you four different lipsticks with four different eyeshadow combinations. From fair to deep skintones, looks for winter to autumn I have a makeup for you!

Off camera makeup:
  eyebrows
    MAC Dipdown Fluidline
    NYC Taupe Brow Pencil
    MAC Girl Boy Brow Set
MAC Quiet Brunette Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set
  eyes
    MAC Painterly
Milani Matte Beige 01 Brow Highlight
    Revlon Lash Potion Mascara
  face
    Physicians Formula BB Cream Concealer
LA Girl Pro Concealer Cool Tan
    Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
    Milani Multitasker Powder
    Urban Decay Toasted Baked Bronzer
    Wet n Wild Mellow Wine

MAKEUP LOOK 1
During Winter, makeup enthusiast usually bust out their matte palettes and cool toned lipsticks. Now you might ask what is a cool toned lipstick? A cool toned lipstick is one that has blue undertones. These lipsticks look best on almost everyone and the blue undertones help make your teeth appear whiter! Which is always a plus. This first look has all that jazz and looks great on almost everyone!

Full list of products:
Lorac Pro Palette 2: cool grey & buff
Wet n Wild H20 liquid liner
Ardell Demi lashes
Dose of Colors Purple Rain liquid lipstick

MAKEUP LOOK 2
This next look is super girly! The pastels make it perfect for Spring. The lavender shade of lipstick is perfect for someone who is just starting venture into purple hues. Its soft and not overwhelming and looks awesome on all skintones. Usually lighter colors like this tend to look ashy on medium to deeper skintones, but a little trick I like to do is pair a light lipstick with a darker lip pencil. Doing this trick helps tone down the lipstick and works better with my olive complexion.
Full list of products:
Sugarpill Sparkle Baby Hotsy Totsy eyeshadow
Sugarpill Poison Plum eyeshadow
Sugarpill Sparkle Baby Frostine eyeshadow
Stila Turquoise Smudge Stick Waterproof liner
Sugarpill Sparkle Baby Candy Crush eyeshadow
Lorac Pro Palette 2: buff
Wet n Wild H20 liquid liner
Nigels Beauty Emporium 605 lashes
MAC Heroine lip pencil
Lime Crime Airborne Unicorn lipstick

MAKEUP LOOK 3
This third look is my favorite! When I wear a bold lip I usually do a very subtle eye look with a pop of color on my bottom lash line. If we can go back to color theory for a minute purple and yellow are great complimentary colors. So when they are put next to each other they make each other stand out. This makeup looks best on medium to deeper skintone! It might be a bit overwhelming for someone with fair skin, but if you aren't intimated by this dark hue, go for it! At the end of the day makeup should be fun!

Full list of products:
MAC All That Glitters eyeshadow
MAC Cork eyeshadow
Wet n Wild H20 liquid liner
NYX White eye pencil
MAC Chrome Yellow eyeshadow
Pretty Zombie Cosmetics 3 Witches

alternative lip Dose of Colors Purple Fusion gloss

MAKEUP LOOK 4
This last look is probably the most wearable. The color Rebel is warm and friendly on all skintones, a great starter lipstick for someone venturing into dark purple hues. Since Rebel is warm and on the raspberry side of the purple family, its easy to wear without it being overwhelming. When I wear a warm lip color I usually like to pair it with eyeshadows that also have orange and/or red undertones.

MAC Rule eyeshadow
Makeup Geek Cocoa Bear eyeshadow
Lorac Pro Palette 2: buff
Lorac Pro Palette 1: espresso, light bronze
Wet n Wild H20 liquid liner

Sweeney Todd | Mrs. Lovett Makeup

Hey everyone! Ruby here with a makeup look for Helena Bonham Carter's character in Sweeney Todd. Her look was very paled out and she had a lot of shadowing around her eyes. She also had a very gaunt face. This video was supposed to go out before Halloween but I just couldn't edit it in time, I hope you all don't mind :) We will actually be continuing some more Halloween-ish looks because we just find these kind of videos to be so much fun to do! But we will also be doing regular makeup looks. Yvette has a Fall look planned so stay tuned for that. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed the video and thank you so much for watching!

Evil Queen's Magic Mirror makeup tutorial

"Mirror, mirror on the wall... Who's the fairest of them all?" The Evil Queen speaking to the Magic Mirror is one Disney's most iconic moments. Definitely one of my favorites! I absolutely love Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, all Disney movies for that matter! However, I have to say as an adult I'm more intrigued by the Disney Villains than the Disney Princesses.

This Magic Mirror makeup is a great look for anyone who is dressing up as a Disney Villain for Halloween! If your group of friends are all villains this would be a great addition. Also, if you're the Evil Queen, your boyfriend could be the Magic Mirror. If you're a mom, you could be the Evil Queen your husband the Magic Mirror and your kids could be Snow White and some dwarfs!

Definitely check out our other Disney makeup tutorials! So far, we've re-created Ursula, the Evil Queen, the Queen of Hearts, Maleficent, Cruella De Vil, Mother Gothel and Once Upon A Time versions too here.

Hope you all enjoy this makeup!

Monster High | Frankie Stein Haunt the Casbah Doll Makeup

Hey everyone! Ruby here with another Halloween makeup! This video is on one of the many Monster High dolls. This doll has light blue greenish skin with gold and brown eyeshadows. I noticed in some other pictures of the doll that she had glitter under her brow and not on her lid so oops! I think it looks better with the glitter on the lid but if you decide to recreate her makeup go with whatever looks best on you :) I hope you all enjoyed the video and I will see you in the next one!

Ursula Makeup Tutorial

Hey everyone! If you follow us on Instagram you know Ruby and I are obsessed with Disneyland! So I just had to create another Disney Villain makeup look. This is my second Ursula makeup tutorial, the first one I created was inspired by the Venomous Villain Designer doll. Today's look is inspired by The Little Mermaid, so I guess more original looking ;) My previous Ursula was a bit more glam! I hope you like both versions and stay tuned for more Disney Villains!
