Hair Care: What is the Best Heat Setting for Your Hair??

Hey everyone! Yvette here with a chatty video all about temperature settings for your hair. If you don't know what is the right heat temperature for your hair this video talks all about it! I talk about what is the right setting for fine, dyed, damaged, coarse, thick, thin and fine hair. Hope you all like it! Enjoy!

LOW HEAT 275°F | 121.1°C
 fine/ thin
 damaged
 dyed*

 Fine/ thin hair:
•Doesn’t hold styles well
•Can become weighed down with heavy products, causing the hair to look stringy
•Can look thin
•Can break easily because it’s fragile

MEDIUM HEAT 275°F - 350°F | 135°C - 176.6°C
 normal hair

 Normal hair:
• Holds styles fairly well
• Usually looks thick and covers the scalp well
• Is not as prone to breakage as fine hair

HIGH HEAT 350°F & above | 176.6°C & above
 thick
 coarse

Thick / coarse hair:
• Appears full
• Holds styles well
• Can tolerate high heat
• Can be resistant to hair coloring and chemical relaxers
